HISTORY OF ABM

A prolific thinker and a passionate educator from a law background had a dream in 1981. He wanted to open a School in the Palampur region. This prolific thinker, Sh. Kuldeep Sharma succeeded in this achievement and finally opened a platform of education named ABM Sr. Sec. The school (Thakurdwara) It was not only his dream but also his constant efforts of setting up an educational institute in the Palampur region on the Pathankot - Manali National Highway at Thakurdwara A zeal for a bright future and the best education quality he used up his full energy throughout and developed a fascinated and curiosity filled environment for better enhancement in Palampur region. He as a born educationist and temperamental personality laid down the foundation of ABM Sen Sec School Thakurdwara

This prolific thinker had a clear vision of naming the platform before establishing it, so he named the school Adarsh Bal Mandir,

This name was given around the belief of understanding, built-up confidence, and Maximized potential among the students.

By ensuring the students feel a sense of competence at school and developing their confidence this ambition of the school was set up.

ABM's name given by the founder proves it to be a true vision of honourable Sh. Kuldeep Sharma to make the school a place for children where they enter considering it as a temple of knowledge and worship also learn precious philosophy of life and contribute to the family, community and global world.

A Time to remember: In the beginning, the school started its operation with handful students of surrounding a rented building. However, with the dedication and hard work of this prolific thinker and with the help of his faculty members gained a lot of achievements in his short life and the school gradually grew in status and popularity.

In 1983, the school was recognized by HP Govt Education Department This recognition provided it another accreditation to operate officially as a fully grown educational institute.

With official recognition by State Govt. ABM never looked back and proved it by gaining another milestone in the journey.

It was the profound efforts of our respected Principal Ma'am Mrs.

Neeru Bala who was the former Principal of the school being the principal of this platform she raised the morale of the institution very high and also coordinated the environment suitably by ensuring friendly nature among the teachers and maintaining a special bond with them.

She gave new dimensions to the science block which is known as Aryabhata block ABM started the science stream with well-equipped Labs in the region designed to provide leaqualityeducationbecauseshewaswellawarethatpresentageistheagerning space and a better learning environment for science stream students under the direction of top-class Science faculty committed to providing highest of Science and Technology and Science stand at the first place. So, she tried to explore the current philosophy of education which was in demand.

It was again due to the crammed immense labour of the founder of the school that all this was possible.

Profiles of Affiliation For more than decades and from infancy

ABM was affiliated with the Himachal Pradesh Board of school education Dharamshala, but ABM began another chapter in its journey to affiliate with CBSE New Delhi in the session 2023-24.

We got tremendous experiences with the state board and raised the state toppers in board examinations and meritorious students in the state every year.

Now we are committed with CBSE Board to carry that legacy under the guidance of a productive team with us as CBSE provides a global platform for students to enhance critical thinking and fun activities. It will be more beneficial for aspirants of JEE & NEET to groom them with modern & new techniques This way we can say that we have taken a fresh take to overcome the present challenges in education, So the best is yet to come in the eyes of people.

ABM has introduced new teaching methodologies, adopted modern technologies, and expanded its facilities to ensure a holistic and enriching learning experience for its students ABM said, 'Good Bye to book-centred education and introduced bag less concept in kindergarten.

In keeping view bag less success rate in kindergarten, we keep one jump ahead to launch bag less concept from Ist to Fifth standard in 2022 and in 6th standard 2023 every Saturday with creative and extra co-curricular activities.

More than words for the first time in the Palampur region in the arena of education ABM established a new milestone with boldness and firmness This initiative goes to Mr. Saurav Sharma under the guidance of Prolific thinker Sh. Kuldeep Sharma.

Mr. Saurav Sharma is the son of the founder of the school, who carried on his father's legacy under their productive guidance and tries to inject creativity and develop a scientific attitude with a spiritual foundation in the students With his immense creative efforts he creates the minds of the students to a point where they can be exposed to the environment He is a very Intellectual person who takes deeply to the problem of the students and helps them. Being a young mind, he understands creative education and makes sure to desirable products.

Mr. Rajesh Chaddha is the present Principal of this institution and runs the institution in a very polite and pleasant manner. He is a practical as well as a deep-rooted person who understands the importance of education and training young minds. He works on individual student performance and enhances the passion and hard work towards their success. He has an ignite very sharp mind that he just joins the cords of the institution together through his efforts. He empowers the faculty member to work as a team and bring change in the mode of education and work as unity and raise the platform high.

Mr. DK Maliya - a person well known for his discipline maintenance & making plans in regulating the students He is the current Vice Principal of this institution who handles the institution in a very smooth manner.

Miss Garima Rana - She is the current Coordinator of the school with a high instinct for teaching as well as a spiritually sounded person who makes the students know not just books but all about life and its purpose, saving the student's dignity and enhancing the creative leadership quality among them, she also carves the capacity of each student and helps in finding and nourishing the hidden talent of students providing an extra mentor contribution in safe & positive school climate & capacity building model and helping the students to tackle the situations in life. Her motive is to impart quality education to young minds so that they can face all the challenges in life and connect them to the path of obedience and honesty.

Mr. Swaroop - A person who makes history a very interesting subject for the students and helps in increasing their knowledge of our past through stories and brief descriptions of the content so that they can stand in any competition with confidence.

Mrs. Babita - The Administrative Head of the institution. A person of extreme effort and a helping hand to the institution. She runs the administrative staff being the head of the administration makes sure to provide all the equipment to the students and the teachers. She handles the administration in a very sweet manner with timely response conduct from them.
